A hot tub is one of the few backyard upgrades you can use all twelve months of the year. In Easton, that means the back yard still gets used in January and February, long after the pool is closed.
KustomScapes & Pools sells, installs, and services hot tubs, swim spas, and plunge spas across Talbot County from our Easton office on Centreville Road.
A Backyard Oasis That Fits Your Easton Home
The first thing to work out is where the spa will go. Placement affects how often you use it and what you can do with the rest of the yard later. We walk the space with you before you pick a model.
We also build pools, decks, patios, and hardscaping, so we can plan the spa and the space around it at the same time. If you want a patio or a retaining wall eventually, it is cheaper to plan for it now than to tear up finished work later. Our crews have over 200 years of combined pool, concrete, and hardscapes experience. If you are weighing a pool as well, start with our
Easton pool builders page, and our
custom hardscaping team handles the patio or paver surround.
Bullfrog Spas and the JetPak Therapy System
Bullfrog Spas is the line we recommend most often, and the reason is the JetPak Therapy System. A JetPak is a jetted seat that lifts out of the spa. Each one massages a different area, so one targets the lower back while another works the neck and shoulders. JetPaks are unique to Bullfrog.
Because they lift out, you are not stuck with the layout the spa came with. Bullfrog offers up to sixteen JetPak massages. You can move your favorite one into your favorite seat, and you can buy more from us later instead of replacing the whole spa. That matters in a house where one person needs a jet for their lower back and everyone else just wants to sit in warm water.
Soaking in hot water may help loosen tight muscles and ease stiffness. Before you shop, decide how many people will usually be in the spa at once, and measure the space you have. Those two answers rule out most models quickly.
If You’d Rather Swim: PDC Swim Spas and Plunge Spas
A hot tub suits most yards. If you want to swim or exercise instead, look at
PDC Spas. We carry the full PDC line on the Eastern Shore. TruSwim Propulsion swim spas create a wide, steady current you can swim against. The Summit Premium Jetted and Synergy Jetted models add powerful jets and massage seating, so you can train and then recover in the same unit. The Splash Series is the smaller, energy-efficient option for a tight yard.
X-Degree plunge spas are built for cold therapy. The XD1 is cold water only. The XD1+ adds hydrotherapy jets. The XD2 Dual Zone runs hot and cold at once for contrast therapy. All three hold water anywhere from 40 degrees to 104 degrees.
Planning the Install Before the Spa Arrives
A full spa is heavy, so what it sits on matters. We start with a site visit. We check how the spa will get into the yard, what it will sit on, how far the electrical run is, and whether the spot you have in mind is one you will actually walk to in winter. From there we handle the design, the permits, and the installation.
That visit is also when we look at the rest of the yard. A spa set into a deck looks very different from one on a concrete slab, and our
outdoor living and deck crews can build either. If you plan to spread the cost, ask about
financing early.
Water Care, Parts, and Service After Delivery
Spa water needs more attention than pool water, because there is less of it and it runs hot. We carry
ProTeam pool and spa products, made by Haviland Pool and Spa, and we will show you exactly what your spa needs.
We are also who you call when something goes wrong. We offer local service plans, seasonal checkups, and repairs, and we handle PDC warranty claims for you. We stock filters, covers, and replacement parts. If we already service your pool, we can usually add the spa to your existing
maintenance visits.
